David Sutherland Design is dedicated to creating unique developments. With over 25 years expertise in the procurement, design and construction of residential developments, from small infill sites to large scale developments. We have extensive experience dealing with all aspects of planning regulation, legal issues, due diligence and the procurement and sale of development land.

David Sutherland has worked with some of the largest house builders in Ireland, representing them in various land deals, side agreement negotiations and at public inquiries and planning appeals. He has designed large and complex developments, up to over 3000 thousand units, successfully negotiating with multiple consultants, planning authorities and local representatives. He has a full understanding of the complex and varied design process associated with large developments and has worked with, and managed large design teams.

Our design philosophy is to ensure we create unique communities and neighbourhoods, which relate to their context and locality. We design our houses to be modern, energy efficient homes, with the flexibility to adapt over time.
David Sutherland has worked with many developers including Fraser Homes, Taggart Homes, Fraser Houses, Alterity Investments, Deramore Group, Neptune Group and the RUAS.
